Sat. 6/11 Track Bound ride

I am heading up to Louden to support our resident racers.

If enough people show interest I can meet you @ Moto Market, I wll be leaving Moto Market @ 9:30 Sharp. so get there early if you want a pastry and upitty coffee/expresso.... Also please show up with a full tank or enough gas to go the 125 miles my bike can go on a tank.

The highway is long and boring so I will be taking a few back roads to take us most of the way to the track. These roads are ok, nothing to rave about, but it is WAY better than the slab.
The pace will be moderate to a slight spirited ride. The LEO'S watch these roads in most of the towns we go through so I will have my radar and will be going at a cautious speed but still above the posted ussually... These roads also draw some traffic, but not too bad..

If the group is not too large there will have to be some "Legal Passing" involved when required.
If this is a big turn out, passing will be few and far between, due to the large amount of attention it could draw...

How the hell is that thing so bad on fuel? I get 150 miles before the light even comes on. I'd junk it and buy a yamaha

I'll be in the rookie race, but I'm gonna just putt around seeing that you get no credits or points and if you crash you don't get your license.

Forcast is looking real good for this weekend with a typical summertime chance of afternoon thunderstorms. You'z may want to bring some warm weather cloths to change into once you're there

I'll be leaving shortly as well, just getting myslef organized.

Be sure to bring sunglasses and cooler clothing, it's going to be HOT ! There are planty of places to change clothes up there.

Ahhh screw that lets ride up in our shorts/sandles and wife beater shirts so we can work on our tans on the way up!

I made it home in an hour and fifty minutes.

Better than I expected.. ANd I made it all the way with my tire!

Now where can I get a tire mounted early on a Sunday so I can ride tomorrow?????????????

I might just have to get up early and use my track rims with the 208GP's and go hit rt17!!!! Hmmmm?
