Low-sided yesterday on an ice patch from the restaurant next door washing out bins next to my house. I have now high-sided, low-sided, 0 mph left dropped, and 0 mph right dropped. All I have left is a head on while making an aggressive pass and flipping backward riding a wheelie down the highway. Can I have his Riding Chumpian belt? I need forum hate to bolster my self-worth.
...be careful what you wish for...but it sounds like you faired ok!

I live in the big red barn looking place behind the Apollo.
Not that I am blaming them; I'm just proud that I am collecting dings the way Ash collects pokemon.

Nice. Apollo is great.
There's always a bike parked behind that place (just as you're coming into the parking lot). Yours?

Yeah, that's me. Ugly, I know, but I love it.
Glad it wasn't worse man. I wondered whose bike that was. I see it a lot over there (less than 1 mile from my place). Is the restaurant paying for the damage to the bike? Guessing no since ice is to be expected in the winter?
...oh right, you wanted forum hate right?
Maybe if you would get a bike that can actually handle you wouldn't crash so much.... better? crap, now I just feel mean.![]()
now all you need is to get that shit stolen.... though you might have a difficult time with that one.
If it makes you feel any better, you get +1 bonus point for riding during the winter, even if you can't handle it (there's your hate).

sorry but in order to grab the belt from j-crawf you have to total your bike then finance a new one at well over msrp and get a full warranty.

Thanks for the love.I think the only way I could get that thing stolen is if I bring it to Newark NJ, leave the keys in, and have (insert favorite beautiful person here) sprawling naked on it. I'm pretty sure they would still leave the bike.
As for cold, heated gloves and layers have kept me comfortable to 20 degrees now. Just have to watch ice better...preferably not from 6" away.
hey! i used to live in Newark. stereotypes like that really hurt the reputation of its people. they're better thieves than that, and absolutely would not need the keys.
actually, in all seriousness, they might. when my car got broken into my 3rd night there (the welcoming committee was real busy with all the shootings, so they couldn't get to me til the 3rd night), the jackasses tried drilling out my ignition with a cheapass screw that broke off. so they had a car they couldn't steal, and i had a car i couldn't start. win-win.![]()
The only reason to go to Newark NJ is for the Newark campus of Rutgers, the airport, drugs, or bad prostitutes. Did I leave out killing children in crossfire? Why in God's Great Earth would someone willingly move to that pit? (I was from Hawthorne; out town's job was to be a buffer between the second richest county in the US and gangland East Coast. The mob kept the town pretty safe though.)
I love how you can smell Newark for like 5 miles before you get there on the highway.
Also, re: the OP, it is unpossible, unless you want to tell us your accident could absolutely not have been avoided, ask our opinion about a new bike and then do something stupid.

Get the story straight. I asked differences between CBR and GSXR and you guys turned the thread into a New vs Used thread which I entertained the idea of.
Because I asked your opinion does not mean I HAVE to take it. I asked and appreciated the responses.
Now let's move on!
Yo Daddie Ribs ... glad you are not injured. +1 one for winter riding! I try to get my bike out of the shed each month for a little ride. Heated grips? Puleez... just stuff your gloves with Lil' Hotties hand warmers. Heated grips are for <fill in this blank>
Glad you are ok from your spill. I have done the Left & Right 0 mph Drops... it is one of my super powers.
I found that spilling on ice is a lot less embarrassing than stalling out at a traffic light with ten bicyclists sharing the light poking fun at you.
I need to go out tonight...it's been almost 3 days without riding!
Idiot !!!!!
