This weeks Write up:
Haha, sorry this is so late guys, I promise I’ll work to get out sooner next week![]()
So this week we had a fantastic turn out and quite a few groups that showed up together after doing a few per-bike night rides, and then there was a group of 7 of us who did a nice little jont out to the crème stand afterwards.
We saw some faces that have been hibernating for a while like jcbell, yesterdays, smiley, and catamount.over all we had around 25 bikes and some great conversation now that we have actually had some decent riding weather. Mark and Keith were missed but we’re all excited to see them next week.
Paul (on a flame patterned silver 636) and his girlfriend (Ashley I think) have started showing up the past few weeks joining in with the regulars. Huffer and Craig have joined right into the group and went with Gary and I on a nice pre-bike night ride.
Side Note, Huffer works for Vantage Press over on North Street, and his boss has gratiously donated free business cards to help advertise our bike night. The card details are still being worked out, but we will hopefully have cards to hand out by Tuesday.
Beyond that, Paul from the Daily Rider is willing to help anyone out with inspections for the bikes.
See you guys next week!
P.S. We’ll miss ya’ Sandy! I Love ya’ man, good luck with your doctor adventures. AND DON’T FORGET TO VISIT!
P.S.S. Happy Birthday Mark!

What night is Burlington BIKE NIGHT?!?!?!?!?!
TUESDAY...!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think there is a red pen with enough ink for an english teacher to correct that post Parker
You will definitely be missed Sandy
Mark got carded on his birthday today, I think he liked it when the waitress seemed surprised by how old he is. I also got carded, but that was less of a surprise.
Only two more days of riding until we come home! I am sad but excited to see this trip come to a close. My entire body aches.

Hey...Tonight is Bike Night! (aka VTBN)
If all goes well, I should be there a little before 7pm. Is there anyone going to be there tonight that can give me some advice on budget motorcycle touring? Please introduce yourself & I'll buy you a soda. I will be the guy on the old trusty blue Honda Nighthawk.
Major props to MarkBVT & NobodySpecific for completing their big ride.

Don't think I'll be making it tonight, just not feeling it. I still have to do a lot of cleaning up from the trip to do and I'm exhausted. Hopefully I will be there next week though.

65? Wow!!! Pics? Write-up? Squids?
Definitely had a number of guys in shorts and t-shirts. Also had a group of about 20 that made a ton of noise on their way out...
Good night anyway though.
I'm sending parker some full-res pics, but here's a couple of teasers that I put up on facebook already.

This week’s write up! (IT’S AMAZING!!!!!)
OMG BIKE NIGHT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!
We had 65 motorcycles show up this week! More than a dozen had passengers….and at least 80% of the bikers went squid!GROSS!!! But we still had a few here and there (from the 3 different squid groups) that showed up in at last a jacket and gloves despite how hot is was. And when asking about gear to the squids, they saw that a jacket might be okay since some of their friends were wearing one.
Anywho, we had soooo many bikes last night that we basically ran out of spots. I as well as several others were helping to direct all of the bikes into the few scattered spots we had left! Every parking space, all along the side and the front were just lined with bikes! So many people were chatting and comparing their bikes and stories. It was truly a huge sport bike community gathering!
Just a few highlights of the night are as follows; Mark and Keith made it home from their trip safely and mark was able to make it down to join us, Jason finished the design for the business cards and we will have 500 full color cards donated by Huffer within the next few days, we had an Winooski officer role through who I talked to and I introduced myself and we said he was happy to see us at Donny’s, and we had a nice little jaunt where 8 of us went and got crèmes afterwards!
We did have a huge group leave and start revving their bikes, but just needed a little reminder that we do have neighbors, after that they stopped. Then after the main group left with their tricked out bikes and “super cool exhausts” Paul (from the daily rider) left and revved his little rin-tin bike (you could barely hear his rev and it sounded goofy as hell) so everyone whooped and hollered and clapped for him! It was awesome!
Beyond that it was just a great night overall. On an ending note, we officially decided upon the name Burlington Bike Night. So when you see that thread change names don’t be too surprisedand if any one has any questions about bike night, ideas, thoughts, or suggestions, then feel free to post them up or send me a PM. I’ll also be holding on to/distributing the business cards when they are printed, so just let me know if you would like a stack to hand out to people. (we’ll have them available at BTBN next week!)

Awesome write-up! I wish I was there! "BBN" is cool too! (Even though it makes even less sense then DBN, because it's not in Burlington).
Great job.
