Re: Burlington Bike Night (Every Tuesday from 5:30-8pm)
Good to see this thread suddenly being revived from the dead. All of us former regulars in this thread have been using GroupMe for more immediate chatting. But yes, we still gather at Donny's on Tuesdays. Come join us!

PS: Adam, you need to change your profile pic now that you don't have the ZZR anymore!

Re: Burlington Bike Night (Every Tuesday from 5:30-8pm)

Re: Burlington Bike Night (Every Tuesday from 5:30-8pm)
Yea, this winter is obnoxious. I did however ride one of my bikes to work today :P
Most of us have been riding our dirtbike on the ice to make sure we stay sane throughout the winter.
I don't know if you're aware @Logleggett but Donny's where we used to have Bike Night is closed now, the owners sold the building. So the past few weeks we've been working towards finding a new venue. I can keep you posted if you'd like to join on a winter Bike Night to get to know some of us.

Re: Burlington Bike Night (Every Tuesday from 5:30-8pm)
I need to make it to a lot more of these next year.
Only thing that sucks is the two hour ride home at dark.

Re: Burlington Bike Night (Every Tuesday from 5:30-8pm)
@Baggey22 Yeah that would be great I would love to be involved in that community a little more and hopefully help find a new place for all of us to meet up this coming season!! And a winter bike night sounds like a fricking blast hahaha

Re: Burlington Bike Night (Every Tuesday from 5:30-8pm)
We were going to hit up North Country Saloon next week, right? May as well while we're doing the nomad thing, even if we don't plan to settle there.
logleggett, what's your riding style? What kind of bike do you have? If you're a dirt rider, you'll fit right in with most of the Bike Night regulars, who've gotten into dirty riding the past couple of years. And if you're more of a street rider, you'll still fit right in because nearly all of them have street bikes too. I enjoy the adventure bike dirt road exploration thing, but haven't gotten into the gnarlier dirt riding because there are so many awesome roads to explore across the region; I go for long rides every weekend. Anyway, the point is, you'll find people to ride with either way.
And Botto, yes, you need to come to Bike Night on a regular basis. Don't worry about the ride home after dark. The Tiger has good headlights.

It isn't the illumination that worries me, it's the critters!
I'll be over there nonetheless.

Re: Burlington Bike Night (Every Tuesday from 5:30-8pm)

Re: Burlington Bike Night (Every Tuesday from 5:30-8pm)
Every Tuesday. But it turns out North Country Saloon hasn't fully reopened yet, so we're doing that next week once they have. Tomorrow night we'll be at Al's French Fries instead.
Let us know if you're going to make it or not, because normally we leave around 7:30. But if we know you're coming, we can hang out longer.

So come and join us!
Logleggett, given the lack of motorcycle gear at this time of year, you might have a little trouble recognizing us, so just look for a table or two of guys in their late 20s to 40s. I'll leave my hat on to make it easier to spot us -- black fedora.

Come to Bike Night to meet some of us. We'll be doing occasional planned rides in collaboration with Cyclewise, but some of us Bike Night regulars also get out riding every weekend. We keep those rides to people we know, but if you come to Bike Night and introduce yourself, we'll know you.
Bike Night has settled in at Three Brothers Pizza in Colchester, by the way, on Rt 7 a short distance north of Costco. Tuesdays 5:30-7:30.
