How about noon. I don't eat breakfast and get hungry early.

Noon or 1 works fine for me and I second the Chili's vote. They have good prices. lol, I pay more at work for a mediocre lunch then I do there for a good lunch.

Dichotomous, any chance you can convince your manager to let you flip flop your lunch tuesdays? If not, SVenpointsixtwo, how rigid is 12:30? Could that slide to 12?

Doc, your poor belly...bring a jar of peanut butter

Re: Anyone in Burlington/Williston area up for lunch this afternoon?

honestly I could get away with lunch at any time, in fact I am usually fairly constantly eating, but there would be grumbling. then again, there is constant grumbling about my constant eating. but at least I dont take half of every wednesday or thursday off, intentionally, and expect clients and everyone to work around that...... that would be horrible. oops, thats what half the people here do (the worst grumblers themselves, who also get the most mobile phone calls and grumble about the 10 I've received this month)..... then there are the two part time workers, who are in at times determined by the alignment of the stars, and the one who doesnt work fridays...... and thats the entire company.......

so yeah, I probably could, but it would involve more grumbling unless the grumblers were also taking long or late lunches, so mostly it would be ok cause thats common....

I can make chilis every now and then though

*take rant with bag of salt, my position is secure and I am encouraged to grow and expand my capabilities and am compensated appropriately when I do, and I'm free to take off for personal needs as they come about. there's just grumbling is all

I have a physics lab right before that, so I might be out by 12 but it is really variable. Depends which blocks we are sliding down ramps and how many pulleys we are using that day

Factor in the 10 minute ride to williston, and I might be a little late.

Just to be sure -- we're still talking about Chili's out by Tafts Corners, right? Or is there another one somewhere around here?

It was great to grab lunch with everyone who made it out. Next time around I vote we hit somewhere with faster service lol. Oh, and yep, nailed the oscilloscope $41!!!!!

Agreed on the faster service... although hopefully next time I won't be as much of a hurry, so it won't really matter.

    Congrats on the geek toy.

Yeah, very happy about the scope. Roughly 1200-1800 on average for the one I got.
