Doc's Pitbike Trackdays/ Racing series (VERMONT) 2009

Here is my tenative schedule for the 2009 Pitbike series.

April 18th (invitation only, early season get together)
May 23rd (Open to the public)
June 6th
July 4th, 11th or 25th
August 1st, 8th, 15th or 29th
September 19th or 26th

I will most likely do 1 a month but for the months with more than one listed I might do an additional day depending on participation and or weather.

I was thinking a $60 prebuy or a $75 for the day of the event.

I am going to model this after TTD for now. We may do a "Race" or 2 in the afternoon if we have enough participants.

I will collect the Fee's and then you sign a release.

They day will go like this.

7am gates open
8am Tech inspection
8:45 Saftey Brief
9am Track open
9-9:20 Blue Group (Fast Guys)
9:20-9:40 Intermediate guys
9:40-10:00 Red Group (slow/new guys)

Then back to Blue. It will rotate like that with a 1 hour break for lunch and start up again at 1. The track will close by 5 with everyone out by 6pm.

Directions to the Track, On Map quest,400 Baptist Street, Graniteville, Vermont

From interstate I-89 get off at Exit 6, the South Barre exit., travel the 4 miles down the hill to stop light at Route 14 intersection. Go straight through the light uphill on Middle Road. Stay on Middle Road, it will turn into Graniteville Road. Drive past Quarry Hill Apartments on your left side. At the playground stay straight onto Baptist street, track entrance is apron 1/4 mile from the playground.

It will be like a trackday. (you can do half price) If we get enough peeps we can do a "race" or 2. I will need help with cornerworkers and such.

I have a stock CRF50 with motard tires that I will be "renting" to select individuals.
Let's say $10 a session on top of the daily fee and you promise to fix it if you break it.

Seeing as in I'd be in the area, is it cool to swing by the shifter kart track and watch?
