My work parking lot today:
For a couple of years we've had a motorcycle-only parking spot that I've usually had to myself or shared with one or two other people. A lot more people have been riding lately, so the spot's been overflowing.
Warms the cockles to see people commuting on two wheels. Even the scooters.

That photo is missing an orange Speed Triple.
Yeah, he didn't ride in today for whatever reason. Or maybe he did and couldn't find parking.
[EDIT: he actually did ride in and had to park in a different part of the lot.]
We've got seven regular or semi-regular riders now, and several more folks who are learning to ride.

actually I am really happy about the scooters, best for citylike areas
theres just something about a blue bike
Those are not motorcycles.

I like how the 2 scooters take up as much space as 4 regular motorcycles.

nothing wrong with scooters... my pit scooter is way more fun than i thought it would be, as soon as i de-restrict it i am going to ride it to work at least once this summer (1 hour commute on a real bike) it will be a freaking hoot...
Scooters are WAY more fun than I thought they would be, to be honest. Tia's that we use as a pit bike (thanks biggety) is a blast.
That's because they had to park flat against that retaining wall instead of angled like the bikes, or they would have been poking out into the right of way. Technically they're already illegally parked where they are.
I've been trying to get the Powers That Be at work to have that stupid retaining wall removed so we can just pull bikes straight into the spot and fit 6 or 7 of them.
