There is one coming up this weekend at the local auto auction. Don't see a lot of bikes go through here, especially not this new. Probably a repo or drug seizure or something.
Buy it!

Yummy. Too bad its in VT. Would love to go look and see what happens.
Dude, totally a Repo. I wonder what happens with the title status of the bike in that situation...
I'd be all over this if I were more local. Bet it's going to go pretty cheap since most people at those auctions are looking for cars, not bikes.
2011 Ducati 848 Evo
vin- ZDM1XBMU0BB014719
miles- 4600 ; light- Red
*title status- Delay, = repo
2018 Harley Road Glide
2000 Ducati 900ss
2003 Harley Softail Deuce
Someones gonna score big
Would make for a pretty amazing track bike
I'm really tempted to go to this with the thought of buying and flipping this.. but I bet a local MC dealer will catch wind of it and snap it up. Any thoughts?
What's the process for getting the title? One must be able to get the title. Probably through the bank that had it repossessed.

I want that!
Anyone ever go to this auction house?
I was poking around their Internet site and it's poorly maintained as far as results and info on vehicles that sold.

I won't go, but I'm curious what ends up taking it.
If the repo for bikes is anything like the car industry, the dealer got it back and the bank dictates the minimum price that will take it. The key would be to find out what dealer has it listed and what the minimum price is.
Interesting. I'll check into it tomorrow and see if I can find anything out..

I go all the time and have purchased cars there before.
Vehicles that sold? Yeah, they don't give you that information. I doubt it would benefit them to tell you what a similar vehicle sold for the week or month prior. They'd rather you didn't know so you make an emotional buy rather than an educated one.
I'm sure the bank has a reserve on this bank, but the question is how LOW is the reserve? What would some of you guys be willing to pay?
Maybe I'll snap it up and sell it to the highest NESR bidder.

Damn If I was back home I'd totally go check this out. At the least someone could flip it on here for a quick profit while still giving a good deal.

I'd like to know a bit more about the 2008 Suzuki DRZ400 listed on the front page of that auction but not included in the list of lots.

Looks like someone bought it for a flip: http://burlington.craigslist.org/mcy/2899878946.html
(It didn't sell for at least 2 weekends... I know at least one bid of $7800 was turned down because the reserve was higher than that. No idea what it eventually sold for but I doubt this CL seller is getting rich on this)
bike is a repo but title still clean?
Wirelessly posted
There are very few bargains at the auctions.
LOL, well I was browsing uship this morning and what do you know this same damn bike appears. Looks like it was purchased by a guy in VA who is looking to get it home.

LOL. I was trying to get a feel for what it would cost to ship a boat.
