Couple of questions to help out a friend in the process of restoring an antique Jag.
Was riding back(east) from Cyclewise yesterday. On 17 probably just a few miles after I turned off of 7 there was a place on the left with a Jaguar as the logo, something like Classic Restorations, it looked like they specialized in restoring British and German cars. Did a quick web search and came up empty, can anybody tell me the name of the place?
The other question might be better answered on an HD board but you guys seem to know everything. Anybody know of a place where he could get a few things chromed?
Jimmy 2 shots is the king of chrome around here. PM him.
As far as the restoration place, no idea.
kickstands n wheelies up in NH for chrome. Google them
I'm gonna guess this is the place:
Rally Sport Northeast
3305 Main Street, New Haven, VT - (802) 453-5022
Red Barns, On 17, just after Sawyer Road.
---------------------------------------------------
- Nothing Witty -
2002 Ducati 998 (sold)
2006 Xtreme Pro Stock 125cc (sold to JBell)
2000 Ducati 748 track (sold)
That may not be the place Sandy. He may be talking about the red barn I pointed out to you going up to my place in Monkton.
Randy, that shop is a very private resto shop for rare and exotic cars. Father and son, Paul and Steve I think. Def go down with the car and talk to those guys!

Hey Randy,
This probably isn't the place you passed unless you went all the way up to Vergennes before heading East.
BUT it's probably the most experienced high end Euro/Brit classic restoration shop in the area.

Possibly one of the only places you'll see Ferraris, Lambos, Bugattis and Jags all in the same place in Vermont. And their blog is a pretty fun bookmark as well.

Thanks for the suggestions, much appreciated.
Bill, is the place that you are referring to on 17? The place I saw was on the left as I was heading east. Could have sworn that "restorations" was in the name of the place.

No, that couldn't be it, I took 7 North from Cyclewise right onto 17. Looks like I'll have to find an afternoon to ride 17.
My new helmet's still a little tight, maybe it made me hallucinate.
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

Next week I'm going to try to stop by Vermont Sportscar in Winooski. They build the cars and run the rally teams for Subaru USA.![]()
