You'll never use all those cylinders.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
they are such a smooth bike. I wish I had the cash, it's not bad money.
It looks fantastic! But for less than $7000 I could buy a ZRX1200R & have more fun!
Great bike, but air-cooled, I am liking the liquid cooled bikes much better now.
But like I said, fantastic on the looks & the mods!
I wish I had my Kawasaki CSR 650 back again, now that was a real show bike box-stock with real chrome-spooked wheels, just f'ing beautiful!
1981 was the year!

I am utterly not worthy. And I know it.

There is no better engine configuration than a straight six. It has perfect primary, secondary, and tertiary balance. (A V-12 can equal it, but not improve on it.) Few bikes have had a straight six. The Benelli Sei, the CBX, the Kawasaki KZ1300, and now the BMW K1600, are it. Of the older ones, the KZ1300 didn't have much charisma, and the Benelli Sei was a rare bike from a small company and most people haven't heard of it. The CBX was (is) charismatic, with it's exposed engine and six exhaust pipes, and just common enough to be known and for people to be able to get one if they really want one. I've always wanted one, and it's exactly because of that engine.
If BMW builds a naked version of its six, a K1600R, the odds are very high I would buy one. There's nothing like a good straight six.

In 1979, 1980 and 1981, it was the meanest, mightiest two-wheeled machine ever made available to the public. Honda flexed its corporate muscles and produced a world beater. It was the machine that guys my age lusted after.
Make sense now?
