Collector's item? I think I've seen those at all the local leather 'n chrome bike shows for like $50.
I'm sure there are more than a few people that may not like the 81 patch on that vest lol.

I'm not nearly bad ass enough to wear that.

I've seen those too. I don't fucking get it one bit. Allure of the outlaw lifestyle?
I just don't understand wearing the logo of a fictitious gang from a TV show. Then again I don't really get wearing gang logos unless you are part of that gang. And even further on that line I don't really understand gangs that much.

I actually kind of like that vest. The light blue denim is really eye catching.
Any of you VT folks mind checking it out for me and let me know if it is as lame
as it looks on the ad?
IF you wear that in public expect your local 13 to rip it off your back as they educate you on 1%'s

I just noticed the price![]()
jesh, anymore of these kids with their 'sonsofanarchy' crap keep running around the forsaken sons are gonna start a turf war. Let's hope the A-Team doesn't join in..... *snicker*
At work last summer we had a company lunch and one of the ladies boyfriends came; he was wearing a motorcycle jacket, acting all macho and making sure everyone saw it. So being polite I mentioned that I ride as well and had rode in that day and did he want to go for a spin. He said he didn't have his bike that day, so I asked what it was. He said he didn't have one at the moment so I was like 'oh, gotcha; between bikes? What are you looking at for your next one?' that was when he finally admitted that he hadn't owned one yet, but not to worry, he was going for the motorcycle course in two weeks.
Maybe he would be interested in this vest. It's cheaper than actually riding and as mentioned, you have to be pretty bad ass to wear it.
maybe the price was a typo...
$35... not $350?

I love the show. A member of my family knew I watched the show and got me a hoodie from the local mall as a Christmas gift. Yeah, I wear it because
A: it is fucking comfortable and
B: I don't go around pretending to be something I'm not wearing the hoodie.
C: I've actually had some cool convos started from people seeing the hoodie and talking about the show.
I see no problem here...
Now if I was running around wearing a HA hoodie, I could understand...but it's a hoodie based off a show for fans of the show like myself, does it really bother you all that much![]()

Does your sweatshirt have an MC patch on the back? Do you wear it out on your bike? I think thats more of the argument that we're making. A lot of the MC's members consider their clubs a brotherhood and have paid their dues in those circles to wear that groups' colors and a MC patch.
Would you be mad at someone wearing a Iraq War Veteran t-shirt if they really weren't? I'd be pissed, I'm a veteran too. But people can still buy them off the internet without earning them, doesn't mean it's right.

My point is that vest looked like someone trying to impersonate something they were not.

Trying to think about if it has the MC or not...I can't remember and I left the hoodie with the lady when I PCS'd. But even if it does, I don't see the big deal since it's just a screen print and quite obviously a mock shirt.
Yes, I would be mildly offended if I saw someone wearing a OIF/OEF veteran shirt or something if they clearly weren't, but I wouldn't do anything rash about it. Having a few "1%'ters" in my "extended" family, I have made the point clear to them when the topic came up about their club, I respect the "brotherhood" they share but not the image they try to portray. If anyone saw me in the hoodie and tried to make something of it, I wouldn't back down even if they we wearing some legit patch. It's a hoodie, not a crime.
And no, I never got to wear it riding, left before the riding season and got it at Christmas, but I probably would have thought nothing of it because again, I wouldn't try to represent it as something it's not, and IF someone gave me shit for it I would put them in their place. Calmly and politely at first, but I would make the point clear, it's a hoodie from a T.V. show. End of story.
