you gotta square it off to run over there and then let the rear spin you almost all the way to the wall. talk to Ted... hell tell ya. bright orange #29 expert. cold temp, rain, snow, typhoon... its still the fast waybut i know what youre saying. its cold and you want to be as far away from solid items as possible. trust me... ive run that line too. the faster you get the closer to walls you get.

Belive me I saw 1st hand what happens when you mix cold, wet and rear tire spin. It was when the they were doing ul gp qualifying. 3 of the guys almost go launched but managed to save it...one was scott jenson and I wouldnt doubt if it was anyone less experienced they would have lost it big time.
Jensen even said in a riders meeting that day that this is probably the most dangerous track that he has run on in the wet and probably the dry as well.

Its not too bad...I got the regular cast now. Its the cool waterproof stuff. The doc told me I can shower, swim and everthing with the cast. Woo hoo.
I only have to wear it for 3 weeks too. It will be off before next race weekend...but I may do the Sat practice and see how I feel about racing. Still have to fix the bike and me and my wife just seriously started talking about selling our house to move closer to work. Right now we live about 40 miles away or 45 minutes on a good day one way. That and the AC went out and thats gona be a big bill...somewhere between 1500 and 3k.
Its always something![]()
Yeah, no shit. I'm thinking about moving up to Loudon. There's a nice little shack (well... it's actually a big cardboard box) for sale for $5 and a bag of pretzels. It's right next door to the track (well... it's actually way back in the parking lot). I figure it'll only add 1½ hrs to my commute to work, but who cares about that?

That's a good move then so long as you are getting closer to the track
