good 1st trackday/race bike

Any suggestions?

I currently own an SV 650. I recently did the STAR school at Loudon and want to do more trackdays and/or entry level racing. I am looking for something to have fun on. I really like my SV so I don't want to screw it up on the track....I'm just thinking out loud for ideas...

Loudon on an SV sounds like a lot of fun. I can't imagime a better bike for a beginner at that track. I wish I had one. Maybe get a set of race plastic for the track days.

yeah..I saw the listing when you posted it and was seriously thinking about it....it seems like an great bike. It would probably be better off in the hands of a more experienced track person though. I really don't know how many tracks days/races I can do at this point.
