This is just the qualifying grid but figured there'd be one or two who might find this a spoiler...while the rest of us might find this interesting...

Should make for an exciting season, Rossi looked pissed. Still 'surprised' to see Marc snatch the pole. Waiting for 3 pm
Nice start to the season!!
Indeed... What a great second to last lap.
When they came onto the front for the last lap I knew it was gonna end the way it did.

If that race was any indicator...it's gonna be a hell of a season!
Look forward to being in Austin (keeping it weird) for the next race!

Incredible. Best race in four or five years for the big show. Although, is the writing on the wall? Will the factory teams start checking out sooner than later? We ended Factory 1,2,3, and it would have been 4 if not for Lorenzo's mistake.
It sure was nice to see a 5-6 bike freight train for MOST of the race though.
I can't ever recall seeing so many of the top riders crash on the same corner. All high speed low side crashes.
Definitely a great race!

Bridgestones have ALWAYS had a sketchy front race tire, and the trend appears to continue in motoGP. Much like Ducati can't sort out the turning of their bike, Bridgestone has never built a consistent front tire. I have only used 'stones a handful of times, and I've been unceremoniously dumped in much the same way we saw riders going down yesterday. Every crash was the same. Can't blame the riders there.
Their marketing team would disagree

Well, actually, the ones I'm referring to were 125GP slicks, so, yes, they may well be of similar development. There is no way to know, except that this has been a CONSISTENT complaint of motoGP riders since the one tire rule. Also, it is my experience with the Bridgestone material that I have used, and if you poke around, you'll find many racers fighting the same issue.
If riders from many categories are complaining of similar issues, then it's fair to say it is a trend with their whole lineup.
GP was surprising and thrilling, but I really liked seeing the kid Jack Miller win in Moto3! The F-bomb on camera was hilarious.
