Do they hold awards if we don't pick them up?

I guess I made the podium and didn't know it this round (3rd Place Amateur LW Sportsman).

I don't recall what they do if you don't pick them up, but with my meager collection of trophies / medals, I'm not ready to start donating to the Novices quite yet :

I'm guessing they will have them next round? As a novice, I think if you didn't show up they didn't hold them I'm guessing it's different for Amateur/Expert?
