I searched but I couldn't find anything.
Just wanted to to see if anyone races with Cyclemount and if mounting the cam like that (using the mirror mounting point) is considered legal with LRRS. Also, if anyone is using that with their SV, which model did you got? as I could not find one that is specific to the SV (they just have gixxers).
Thanks.

I have a camera mounted on my tank. Some have them on their forks. I don't see why this would be illegal as long as it is safety wired.

Perfectly legal but as Isaac, it needs to be safety wired somewhere.

I agree. Just make sure it's mounted up when you go through tech. If there's a problem they'll let you know.
Expect, if you have an off, for the "arm" to break. Safety wire to the housing and to permanent points to keep the camera.
This is sold by Woodcraft. I'm fairly certain calling them at 978-297-2977 would get you a very helpful person who may know if it will fit your SV, and may also know a bit about LRRS tech. They might even know you. Small world we live in.

Rulebook says no cameras on the helmet. Says nothing about cameras on the bike.
I argue the passages about "workmanlike" apply. So yeah, safety wired.
I ran mine from a mount on my triple clamp or off my fairing stay.
Thanks for the input guys.
