What are you guys going to run for the conditions Saturday?
The warm weather just couldn't hold huh... Sucks.
Gonna wait and see exactly what it does but my rains will be coming with me for sure.

DOTs if its dry.
Rains if it isn't.
Are they're secret other options that I'm not aware of?

You can get different compounds.
That's what I'm asking about. It sounds like it'll be very cold, without enough water to run rains.

Days like that are exactly why I had my electric gloves hooked up to my race bike (before I switched to the TZ250).
Nothing like nice warm hands to help you race. Especially when I was running the GTU's (which were 30 minutes back then).
I think being warm and comfortable is more important than which compound to run if you are not on rains. You won't notice the difference in compound at 48 degrees and a cold track.

Last slightly wet trackday I took Renee's bike out on the Rossa Corsa's (my bike had slicks).
I was very pleased with how they gripped and that convinced me a quality street tire might be best for damp conditions.
Unless, of course, you want to pick up this Intermediate tire! (and no... we don't have any for this weekend!)

Agreed, if dry go with a race tire. I did Barber this past winter... 40 degrees and no warmers. By 3rd lap I was on pace.
We all know what happens to me when it rains...
Forecast changed already... I wouldn't worry about rain this weekend... Just some passing showers.
Should be entertaining....
Good thing I have extra traction....
