I was talking to Morgan Broadhead the other day. He’s the guy that was heading up the racer support at Suzuki. He is now with the AMA. Anyway, Morgan was saying that the AMA is working on a Class for the 650 Twins for 08.. I think it would be a good idea for any of you that would be interested in racing your 650 in the AMA to contact the AMA and let them know how you feel,
It would be a spec class with a HP limit and weight limit. Sounded pretty cool.
*shrug* Would be bitching if it happened, but, doubtful?

it'd be f-ing awesome. but as you said. highly doubtful... i'd expect to see a new hawk from honda first (hey i can dream)

I'm thinking that the 125 class is in a better position to step in. They have already secured 2 dates for this season and if all goes well...
Especially since a former USGPRU alum is a leading protagonist in the Red Bull Rookies cup and an american is in 125GP world championship, it's hard to deny now that this is the way to improve the US system.
i was sad when the ama axed the 250 GP class.
I've read that the 125cc class is more likely to come in as a support series (John Ulrich).
Boston --> San Diego
im sad they axed the thunderbike class
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...
