some questions:
spec fuel: says that VP is back..does that mean that im back to buying expensive gas again or will the pump gas still be good?
MWPT- so all these bikes that are eligible for this class are naked bikes..does this mean we still arent enforcing the bellypan rule?
how will they grid NV classes? most have never raced before and since there is no point system for them...how will they get gridded for the rest of the season?
that only happened if you didnt pre enter....the 2-3 rows of guys in front of me in LWSB all finished there tooIt's going to be way way better than the old way where you were mostly likely 5 rows back on the grid behind 4 rows of guys that are doing shitty laptimes.
im on the fence with this one. i liked that i was rewarded for being proactive in pre registering, this way seems to benefit the people with the deepest pockets...kind of like the overall championship this year. hypothetically it wont really affect me too much....jersey will be ahead of me on the grid only because he does more races than me. now i have to prep a MWPT bike![]()
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...

I dont quite see all the negative reaction to the gridding. The biggest arguments so far is, what about the novices? And what about the people that only run 1 race?
A. novices, it doesnt matter where they grid, if they have points, odds are they'll be running up front, if they're new, they (mostly) gonna be at the back anyway.
B. Only run 1 race, yah, that sucks but is it gonna make a HUGE difference? Its not like we have 19 rows per class, at most 5 or so, yes thats a lot of bikes, but in a huge class, odds are you wouldnt be up front ANYWAY.
I like it, mainly cause its a big step toward (HOPEFULLY) running points per class gridding, but also its ncie to see where you stand, and get some sort of bonus for running well.

Plus it helps add another bike to the Ptwins game so they won't drop that race in the future.

True, true. I guess all the Hawks I've seen are mega-modified.
Now hopefully they will run the SuperSingles class in the MW Prod Twin race.

Are you actually concerned that one person that comes to maybe one race weekend a year is going to attempt to run a bike in the class that might have an ever so slight advantage?
Any change in the rules and everyone freaks out. Oxx is overly concerned about the novice grid possitions, you're worried that you might have to race one or two more bikes, other people think racers that put more money into racing shouldn't be gridded one or two spots ahead. None of this will make any difference to anyone but everyone is going to freak out. If they didn't announce it no one would have even noticed on the grid sheets.

I'm with you Dollar Bill, I don't see the banquet news as negative.
Last years banquet news was: race prices are going up and no change to the gridding process. tuff shit
This year races are staying the same and The overall gridding process is improving.
As Johnny B said " We're going with this now because keeping it in committee while we fine tune it to perfection would probably mean that it would never happen. Let's get it rolling and fine tune it as we go along. "
No, not at all.
More concerned that someone with a bike that is a shit-ton faster than any other Prod Twins bike will clean house. Besides, what do you care? Planning to run PTwins anytime soon?
This is my only class that my particular bike is competitive in past a Novice level and I'd like to keep it as fair as possible considering it's a "rider ability/budget" type of class. I'm willing to bet the other 15 or so PTwin'ers who have been supporting the class for years feel the same way.

I agree, Clayton.
Just don't forget, the hawks gotta play by Production rules too & there's VERY few Pruduction legal hawks out there. They're pretty sluggish in stock form so it shouldn't be too bad.
