    NASCAR 9/17-20

If you've never been to a Sprint Cup event you should. The show they put on rivals any sporting event in the world. This Sept. I'm going for a week end of camping. I'll head up earlier in the week and I can tow campers from the parking lot to a camping spot so we can all camp together. Think of the old Animal Hill crowd, but with fewer teeth. For tickets and camping passes click here. Sign up for "F" lot camping.

So who's in for a week end of camping and showing those hill billies how to drink???

I've never been and planned on going to the race. I dont have a camper, but was thinking about tenting it if they allow that. I live close enough to drive there anyway

Edit: uhhhh.. i think you NEED to be a redneck to understand the ticketing process for nascar.. theres like 4238093208903284902340923 different options.. fuck that... my sofa with a cold beer in front of my 61" suits me just fine. When Nascar learns how to explain what the fuck they are trying to sell in tickets I'll consider buying!

They allow tents, I've seen them, but don't know what you need to buy to get access. As for tickets, you buy them but where you want to sit. The further up the stands, the more they cost.

Until you get to the suites, then they're free!
We squeezed Kendall Oil for some freebies some time back since we bought their shit in bulk at our dealership. Free food and drinks, airconditioning and muffled sound from the track.

Except WSB, MotoGP and Formula 1. Open wheeled cars that hold 5+ G's through turns and rev to 18,000 rpm get my vote...never mind the fact that it's watched all over the world, where Nascar is not.

But to each their own, enjoy

If you've never been it's worth going. That being said I gave my ticket to our 7 year old daughter so she can spend time with my father in law this fall.
