We need to start getting a count of who's planning on staying here that weekend. Degsy & Beth have already claimed the Honeymoon Suite and Ed's already claimed the Pinhead Allcove. We still have some couch space and floor space...
There was also talk a short while ago of a possible get together at Gordon's place. If that's something we may be interested in, let's give him (them, really) the courtesy of also giving them a heads up...
A'ight, beeeyatches?
Did you grit your teeth and try to look like Clint Fuckin' Eastwood?
Or did you lisp it all hangfisted like a fuckin' flower?
We currently have room available if the Hotel Stonner is full...
I just drained the hot tub for the spring, but I may be willing to re-fill it with enough arm-twisting...
when is this test session?
Yamaha
If the pinhead alcove is the same as the g-man futon, I will probably take old scoot up on his offer. Gordon drop me a line with directions and I will get back to you.... Thanks to both of you .... Later

Yes, kinda. We've moved things around a bit downstairs to better accomidate guests. Cheryl now has an office in Manchester, so we no longer really have a need for a 'home office'. So we've made that a guest room of sorts to give bums like you & Ed a bit more privacy...Originally posted by gsxr600ger

Having a tiny little house kinda sucks, but we'll be psyched when we're retired and the kids move out and we don't have much to maintain...![]()

Ok, I just got off the phone with Betty at NHIS. She said that it is a go. They will be 20 min alternating sessions starting at 9:00am both days. Track opens at 7:00
first 20 is cars then bikes. She expects the cars to be easier clean ups than bikes should something happen.
She also said that the entire track in free of snow and that the upper layers of frost have thawed so the track surface should retain some heat.
So that being said I look forward to seeing y'all at the track next week.
Does anyone know the cost of this? Is the charge for the weekend, or per day?
Is there a charge at the gate for spectators/helpers/supporters? (Dumb question, I know, being NHIS and all...)
Do you need to be a licensed racer, or will they let 'soon to be racers' out too?
Anybody? Anybody?

Cost is 100.00 per day 5.00 per person paddock fee. Must be licensed.
Fuck!!! I hope it snowsOriginally posted by RSVMILLE661

I need track time!
That sucks. The first time I get to ride the 750 will be on the 25th. That's no good. I'm gonna put a plate on the bitch.....![]()

Lets hope for you non-licence guys they aren't checking.
Scotty are they expecting it to busy? if so it might be a cluster fuck. Nothing like having 50 bikes on the track at one time.
Upon speaking with Betty she was not sure as to the turn out will be. This is the first year they have offered the "spring tune up" sessions. She said it will most likely be similar to the Thursday sessions 25-35 bikes.
She did assure me that if it gets out of hand then they will put experts together and then run Am/Jr together or something to that effect.
We are but the ginnuea pigs for the experiment![]()
Actually they do it every year in early April. When I went in 2000 there were about 15 bikes -- practically an open track. Very good opportunity to get some pre-season track time...Originally posted by RSVMILLE661

Me personally, I'm NOT gonna test my luck this early in the season. If they SAY licensed racers only, I'll let it be. My bike WILL be there though, and Degs says he's gonna rip it up for me and lemme know if anything needs to be adjusted. With everything that happened with WC and the emails he sent out, I'm gonna walk a fine line with this...Originally posted by kip

Now that I think about it, I didn't have my license when I went -- all I had was my Penguin school certificate. I'd give them a call and verify that you can get in with only that...

I don't even have THAT yet! I *AM* prepaid and I'll be taking the first class though. Like I said, I'm gonna go easy on this. As long as SOMEONE'S there to take my bike out on the track, I'm cool with it...Originally posted by pg_rider

Jay, If I was you I would bring your leathers with you. If your bike is going to be there already who's to say you can't take some laps on it. When you sign in you put your number or a number for the bike, but they don't know who is riding the bike![]()

I just checked Yahoo for the weather this weekend in Concord,NH.
Sat - Rain and high 40
Sun - Sunny and high 37
I hate to sound like a pussy, but if it doesn't warm up I think I will pass on this weekend and hope the it will warm up for the one on the 10th.
I forgot to mention what about the MotoGP race on Sunday? We can't miss that can we?
PS- You guys who are going up this weekend be careful becuase a high of 37 will mean below 32 at night. We don't want the water to freeze in your bikes.
The locals are saying POSSIBLE rain Saturday, with temps in the lower to mid 40's. Same for Sunday. The most accurate it seems for up my way is www.thewmurchannel.com. Keep an eye on their site...
