$25 for the weekend (Fri and Sat night). Thurs night is no charge, but they may make you re-sign in on Friday evening.
Stop by T1 (LDR) Fri night and say hi.

If you run into a wall with a helmet on, you still ran into a wall.
If you are camping and want power, make sure you specify "with power" when you pay for camping. I will be camping also, may be I will see you there.

Awesome, I'll stop by LDR when I get there and introduce myself. I'm bringing a friend to the penguin school. Hopefully he can get his bike finished in time for the races on Saturday and Sunday.
This is gonna be a super fun weekend.
Dunno what your sleeping arrangements are like but if you are tenting i suggest going to walmart and getting an inflatable 8" thick air mattress for $20. your back will really appreciate it

I only have a 2 man tent. So anything that's inflatable is not gonna fit inside it. I do have a sleeping pad which I'll be using hopefully that will be enough. I'm pretty young so all I should need in the morning is some coffee and I should be good to go. As long as the campsites aren't all gravel and there is a bit if grass somewhere I should be able to manage. If not I'll be sleeping in my car.

last summer i got myself a cheap coleman 4 man tent and air mattress from walmart to use during the annual weekend canoe trip i do Memorial Day weekend. till then i had always been a huge advocate of going light with just a 2 man and a 1" inflatable. Holy crap did the big mattress make a difference! it is also really nice to be able to stand up, mostly, when putting on pants in the tent too. think in all it was about $50 and i still have my 2 man for when i need it

Well if that's the case maybe I'll try and stuff an air mattress into the tent. Might be a perfect excuse to get a bigger tent.
Also what are the rules for adult beverages. I know it's a strict, no tolerance policy during track operations. But after the day is over are there any rules about glass containers and that sort of thing?
nothing restricting glass that i know of but its a good idea to prob keep em away from the garage areas anyway. once 5pm hits and racing is over and the engines stop the sounds of popping bottles and cans can be heard throughout the infield. thats usually coupled with "put more gas on that wood pile" lol

I also use a 2 person tent, but I use a coleman folding cot instead. That thing is better than my futon at home, no joke.

I got a 8 man tent you can use if your short on $$$. I am in north worcester. maybe its a 6 man. But its good sized. You can stand up in it.

Your going to need a big tent to fit all the blankets and/or fat chicks in there to keep you warm. Drops below 40 and pushes lower 30's sometimes. Bad night of sleep make for an exhausting trackday.
For those that are newcomers to LRRS be sure to stop by the Pirelli/RSP Racing garage and introduce yourselves. I like to know the faces of the guys I am cheering for =)

My current tent is a well used $25 Walmart special. '2 person' dome that just fits my twin mattress pad and a bag of clothes. Only improvement this year will be an electric blanket / mattress pad for the cold events, and a quieter fan for warm ones.
The bigger your tent the colder it will be.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
