Syl, Oli & I should be there all day Saturday. Center garage 1 and heading up to the VIP area for the big showdown.

It's very unlikely that we'll spend the night. At most, we'll stick around, hang out, grill up some dinner and hit the road when Oli runs outta gas for the night.

I should be up there all day Saturday (not racing though). I’ll be in Center 5. No ticket for the VIP area to watch the big showdown, so I’ll be watching with the rest of the common folk in T1 or T6 area.

YES, we WERE there!

We spent all day Friday walking around the track/vendors/bleachers/infield. It was great getting to rub it up with Paul D. and hanging out with The Butcher Friday. My knees were absolute toast Saturday and it was all I could do to sit in the T6 bleachers all day. I couldn't even get my leg over the bike so we had to take Big Shirl's car. She agreed to be my designated driver for the day, so I just sat in the bleachers and drank.

Sorry Clayton, I was in so much pain and had a little buzz going when you spotted me walking by, it took a minute to realize it was you - you look so grown up now! LOL! After I got back to the bleachers, I was kinda pissed at myself for not recognizing you sooner!

Ran into Jimmy 2 Shots on his crazy Grom.2. Fuck me, I REALLY wanted to take it for a spin. Also had a late day run in with Oreo only to realize I forgot one of the helmets I've been trying so hard to give away!

Tried to make it down to say hi to Kurlon, but he looked REALLY preoccupied and I hate feeling like we're getting in the way or interrupting things in the garages. I kept telling myself I was gonna make it a point to get back to his garage, but he was never there when we were.

So yeah - we spent some time kicking around the infield garages for a while Fri & Sun., just hung out in T6 Saturday. Special thanks to Paul D. for his hospitality and putting up with us for a bit, and a huge thanks to The Butcher for letting us hang in his garage off & on all weekend. And more importantly, congratulations to everyone on their weekend. You guys all rocked!

I promise I'll see if I can dig up anymore of those NESR hats and dole 'em out in the garages next round...
