Thursday Practices...

Looks like the first coupla 'Test Sessions' are:

Thursday the 15th, from 8:00 - 12:00, and

Thursday the 22nd, from 1:00 - 5:00

Anyone planning to do either, or, or both?

Come on guys Jay can't be the only one going up to practice. If the weather is nice I might find my way up on the 15th, but I would guess it will be cold in the morning.

Can't make the 15th, but I'll be at the afternoon one on the 22nd. If it's nice down your way on the 15th, Kip, you can bet it'll be about 15 degrees cooler at NHIS...

How do you get involved in the Thursday Practices?

Show up and pay 100.00 and your in! You have to look at the NHIS site to see when they are, they are either in the morning or afternoon. You need a lic. which you seem to have!

show up ., you do NOT need a lic for thursday ., but for the friday practice you do.....


and bring warm gear... lol..... it is actually a great day to work on stuff ., alot less people there !!!

But you at least need the Penguin card they give you when you complete the course. Although they've NEVER asked me for ANY verification of ANYTHING for a Thursday practice...

Well I have my lic. so I am not worried about that. How are the practices organized. Would I be able to get out there with an expert and follow (try and follow) him and learn stuff or is it based on times?

It depends what type of turnout they have for it. If there's enough, they'll break groups down as they see fit. I've been there when there were so few of us they just let us all go out at will...

Those are usually the best. You can go your usual pace, or you can try to hook up with a Jr. or Ex. Take a break when you get tired, go back out when ya want. Those are usually the morning sessions...

nope do not even need a card for the thurday ., it is a trackday ., and trackdays are more for street riders ,. they just show up ,. tech the bike and go ......


for friday practice you at least need the card to do practice....


thursday is good for people who want to try the track without doing a school . [ i would recommend people do a school first though]

i may do summit the following weekend., and just do a sat or sunday at Loudon.....

Yeah, I'll be there all weekend. I'm pre-regi'd for 3 races every weekend for the year...
