For once I got a nasty cold ahead of having to leave....better than getting it when I do leave. Should have plenty of time to kick this before next thursday.

I'm considering ditching on the entire 1st weekend in light of this. Snow is one thing but my concern is I've seeing morning temps at my house (30 min from NHMS) consistently in the mid to upper 30's which means track temps won't come it until late in the day...at least 3 to 4 pm.

I leave for work at 7am, today it was below 30 at my place (45 min from NHMS). I'm usually at the track by 7:30am.

Unfortunately, my race season might start in May this year.

If it helps the pain any, my race season is in fact starting on Weekend 2. While the unpredictable weather played a part in this decision, the big set back was a commitment issue from a sponsor of mine. I don't have the full story yet but I'm not pleased that my decision is ultimately based on someone else's fuck up.
