Holy shit the dash was a hell of a race this weekend!
And all of us who always watch from the bowl got a front row seat for most of the action... Shane, Eric, and Scotty had an amazing battle with lots of moves occurring in T6-8. Eric and Shane definitely swapped paint a few times. And then the move by Eric in turn 7 and absolutely SLAMMING the door, we were all going wild!!!!
I'm sure some of you have seen the photos now on facebook with Shane and his elbow and knee on the T7 curb with Eric all over him.
NHMS posted up the vid too:

Great racing, so fun to watch (with beer in hand)!

Seriously, those first 3 laps were insane to watch from the Bowl.

It was Epic. You could tell how hard Shane was working to keep Eric at bay. Truly amazing to watch.
A man of many names...Jay, Gennaro, Gerry, etc.
Stupid red flag!
Shane's head was shaking like crazy every time he passed the bowl. Someone told me its from the rear trying to slip out constantly
I'm surprised the youtube video doesn't show the sickest paint swapping on that one lap it turn 7 between Narbonne and Wood
he bobs his head on corner exit also. its weird.
Eric passed me first into 9 with Shane hot in his rear on my left. Shane was just far enough past to get my knee on the ground and I started to lowside, right foot coming off the peg and I notice Scotty practically on top of me. He later told me had was so close he had to lift his elbow up to not hit my bar. that was a wild time. really fun seeing them all come by like that and being part of it for a few milliseconds.
*note: the almost lowside had nothing to do with them being right there. just happened right at that point.
