This sucks. Practice for the Isle of Man is underway and the best rider has been killed in a crash.

It's not a track, it's country roads. He hit a telephone pole. The wires came down and wrapped around Jim Moodie (the rider following DJ)'s neck. He suffered abrasions but managed not to crash.

every year they have a 2 hour special on the IOM TT races on speed channel. I will host a party for it this year when I know it will be on TV.

I have watched the TT for awhile and it has always been very exciting/dangerous. DJ was awesome...a very big man who made his bike look small. He could ride the TT. He just looked faster than everyone else. DJ and Joey Dunlop were 2 of the best TT riders.
Several months ago..one of the Mags did a story on DJ's TT bike....wild.

That is VERY sad indeed.. first Dunlop now Jefferies.... Jefferies came to BIG attention to me personal when he ROMPED everyone in 99 on the V&M R1's....
Fuck that really sucks!
He was really fast on that Gixxer....
