I think I would run the Buell if I was you, That is...For lack of a better term, the bike you are "comfortable" on out there.

Gonna start the learning curve all over on a New To You bike.

BUT if i can keep from blowing the thing to bits...and that hawk is waiting for somebody to rip it...i'll at least give it a shot on the 6th, see if i like the bike. final decision doesn't have to be made till i register anyway. so, i'll see you in july? august? i really want to race, but it's gone from an "absolutely must do no matter the cost" to "fuck yeah, that'd be fun...i'd really like to give it a go" plus, the longer i put it off, the more track time i'll have under my belt. i KNOW i've got some shit to fix in my riding. that really is priority #1 as far as motorcycles are concerned. so, couple more trackdays, maybe a lot of coaching, i'll hopefully put something together.

Nah, I blew mine up, but I also tried squeezing every bit of life from that motor.

I constantly rung it's neck, flogged it with nitrous, and raised the rev limiter more than it should have gone cuz it made more power. I knew what was gonna eventually happen. I almost made my goal of 20k on that bike.

On the plus side, I still have a spare Tranny, Cases, and Crank should your go Boom!

My bike is in 12 different countries by now....
