OK, last year there were to many and I didn't think to keep records. This year I'll try to keep up.
The rules - Only for bikes that get hauled on the truck. Only for bikes that get hauled from Thursday open practice thru Sundays races. For those that take the ride, it can be a long time to contemplate.
For anyone who took the "Ride of Regret" last year and is willing to admit it, may add their # with any excuses they may wish to add.
April 25th and 26th event.

May have missed 1 or 2 but I pretty sure this is complete.

I took the ride of shame from T11 last year. That is when I competed and beat Peter Kates for the quickest rearshock disassembly.

My last ride of shame was in the bus when I broke my wrist over 2 years ago... i'm hoping to keep that streak going.
"Are you sure it's broken?"

I believe my bike took the crash truck last year while I rode the stretcher to the medical center w/2 broken ankles. I hit a downed bike in 9. Not fun. The bike was ready to race two days after the accident. If It had been ready the next day, I probably would've ridden it.
No pushing this.

Heh, every time I see those pics, I start hearing "Low, Ri, der..." in my head.
My bike had to be delivered back to me after my crash in T8 in 2007... good times. The wheels weren't round enough to roll, but even if they were the forks were bent back against the radiator and keeping it from turning anyway.
Starting it was out of the question, since the ECU was about 30yrds behind the track in the grass (took a few hours with a flashlight that night to find it)

The crash truck is only for non-rollers on track or in crash zones. If it rolls and steers, the rider has to hump it back to the pits or wait until lunch or the end of the day for me to pick it up from the CW station.
Laura has gone ballistic when people have asked for the truck just because the rider didn't want to push it back to the pits. LOL !!!
Also, if I have to do a " dump and run " or don't know the garage or pit, look for it at tech or the fence by johnny B.

who is #23 on this list? cause the #23 that i know who is in the garage behind us didnt crash or break last weekend
I believe that's Penguin #23. I'll make note of those in the future. Same with #120 I believe. It was a Penguin bike with that number plate attached.

Oh, I hope the #120 rider on the Penguin bike opted for the insurance. That bike was F'ed up and those crash well. He didn't look happy on the ride back to G 1.

i pushed my NSR back to the pits with a broken elbow once. holding the clutch lever in with the broken side...it was not fun. thankfully rebelpacket spotted me and took over half way.
...never rode in the crash truck or ambulance though.

Gino, my 748 had a snapped ride height adjuster, snapped shock, rear wheel w/ the spokes on a different plane from the hub and rim, and a completely effed front end.. I pushed the biatch home sukka. Even if the ass was draggin on the tire. You could have just tossed the hawk over your shoulder those thangs are so light...

I didn't get to see how it happened, but when I decided to spend some quality time with the cornerworkers in 2 last April, they offered me a chauffeured ride over to the Timing and Scoring area, and my bike magically ended up strapped in my trailer, hooked to my friend's truck by the time I got back to my pit?
