the guy was awesome....i can remember bringing my girlfriend up to the track and she would be in my garage and id go ask bob for a tech sticker for penguin practice and hed ask "hey is ur girlfriend with u over there?" and i say yes and hed come tech my bike just to check her out...he was def a pleasure to shoot the shit with and will def be missed

This is terrible news. There was a void in the the paddock last season without him around, such a great guy to have around the garage.
I first started on an EX500 back in 2003 and he was there to give a newbie some much appreciated advice.
I was glad to see him suit up again and line up on the ULSB grid with us on a newer EX500.
You'll be missed Bob. RIP.
