Is there any way to know how/when we will be getting credit towards races for the ones that weren't held due to the flooding? I'm cutting it kinda close this month and could use some free races!![]()
the race fees from last weekend are "SUPPOSED" to be automatically credited to this race weekend BUT if you haven't faxed your entry form yet, just write a little note at the bottom of the form stating this!
this is what Wanda at registration told me !
Good luck! Once these people have your money they will not easily give it up!Originally posted by Stupidhawk007

I'd say you've got about a 99.9% chance of getting fucked.

It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
The only reason you should be rolling your eyes is over why they aren't automatically refunding people's money. If I'm not mistaken, most if not all fees are from credit cards.Originally posted by a13x

Once again, I hope everyone doesn't get screwed, but I am with Bryan on this one going by past experience. I believe once you have paid, no refunds for adverse weather.

Bette French told me today that the money will be credited towards future races. My normal race schedule looks like this:
Day 1 - Race 9
Day 2 - Races 1 and 14
Day 2 was rained out last race weekend, and I registered for the exact same three races this time. It is my understanding that my credit card will only be charged for Day 1, Race 9, but not for the Day 2 races.
I am waiting to see how it runs on my credit card. I will let y'all know.

I don't know if I missed the topic on the NEAR list, but do you have
any info on how the cancelled races will be handled? I'm pre-reg'd
for the season so if it's a CCS credit will it be applied to my next
weekend and my card charged less?
Thanks,
Jay

Correct. And I'm waiting for Don to clarify it, but presumably, the championships that race on Sunday will be based on a 7-event year. (Minus one dropped event.)

That would be good. I actually don't believe they have to refund for bad weather, but it would show good faith if they made a gesture like that.Originally posted by Paul_E_D
Degs, they actually have gotten a little more responsive to the "customer". I think people will get credit for the cancelled races. I don't know how timely it will be though.
I'm sure the paperwork for crediting people is going to be a nightmare for the reg people.

i can see not refunding for bad weather if the rider CHOOSES not to ride... but if the races are outright canceled, I'd think they'd give a refund.
Here's an excerpt from the 2006 LRRS Rulebook, part 2.4, 3rd paragraph:
So it's not garanteed, but i don't see why they'd skrew us like that... that would raise a SERIOUS shit storm that i'm sure they'd want to avoid.Events will be run regardless of weather conditions. There will be no refunds or credits of entry fees for inclement weather. In the event the track is unusable due to impossible conditions LRRS reserves the right to postpone or cancel an event. Credits will be considered at that time.

OK guys 20 plus years of experience talking here.
If you do not go through tech at all, you will get a refund in full or a credit for the next time you race.
If you go through tech and you have a problem, you can fill out a request for action form and if you have extenuating circumstances you can be granted a credit.
When races are cancelled i.e. last Sunday, your entries will be credited toward the next race week end.
If you just don't want to race in the rain, TBF you F'en pussy.
So If you were entered last Sunday your card will/should not be charged for Sunday 6/18. If it is call NHIS and they will fix it.
you mean TFB....Originally posted by gmdboston
