The track has purchased forty, fourty, fort tee , count 'em , 40....I say again, 40 brandy new soft barrier sections !!!!!!!!!

We're talking about 40 brand new sections of soft wall barriers!!!!

They are white, they are German/Austrian, they are about half way between the size of a Defender and a Super Defender. Their a bit more durable....FUCK IT !!!!! WE GET MORE BARRIERS !!!!!!!

For those that can't do the math...that's about 250' of new soft wall !!!!!!!!!

This is big...this is great....this is AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND, THE PEASANTS REJOICE !!!!!!

Tires are fine. As a matter of fact, I took a swim in them going into T3 last race weekend of 2008. Not as soft as I'd hoped but it certainly beat the hell out of trying to bunny-hop the concrete barriers!

I can make a guess; The Wood family, your rider reps, the U.S, Marshalls, track operations, Don, Johnny B and the rest of the officials, Mel and the ambulance crews, etc.

It still comes down to the upper management and owner to come through. Let's face it, motorcycles are a small blip on the radar. This is a big expense for a relatively small group. The track probably makes more money on NASCAR concession sales than on LRRS and all the bike track days combined.
