When i was up at my parent's house this weekend i noticed that the cap on the oil/antifreeze/shit container i had on my trailer popped off and spilled on my rear tire... It's been sitting there soaking in it since the Loudon Classic.

Soooo unless there's a way to clean it off (doubtful), I guess i'll be throwing that new rear tire on sooner than expected...

such a shame, since I only got 3 full days at vir, 3 practices and 5 races out of it

coulda had the potential to last almost the rest of the season

oh, and it already had a few race weekends on it when i got it from Johnny

how does a saftey cap accidently pop off a bottle and the bottle accidently poor on your tire?

I think you can ride it out. Clean it off carefully with some mild degreaser and then take it easy for a few laps. The heat and spinning will wick it out of the tire...

I've done it...

he just watch Fear and Loathing again, and was to cheap to go on a proper ether-bender, so he went the "cheapbastidfix" route...nuthin' like huffin'

It was just a cheap plastic cap.. if i tightened it too much it'd pop off. I shoulda duct taped it or somethin.
