Supermoto racing anyone?

Has anyone done any supermoto racing? Anyone want to? I'm thinking about doing THIS.

I'd love to do it, but I don't think it's going to happen. I'll be there watching...gotta show some support so they keep coming back to the northeast.

Jay,

Not a chance in hell of me actually running that race but I will be there at the very least spectating. If you need any people to help you out as far as a crew would go let me know. I would be more than happy to lend a hand.

I don't think I'd need a crew, all I gotta do is start the bike and go race it no?

I'd like to see the track layout and know what I'd be up against. Don't know if I should enter AM or novice. i'm guessing Novice for the first race.

Let me make sure I have nothing going on that weekend and then I'll reserve a room. I don't know about shelling out the cake for mohegan...though i might have a kinex there. Anyone else interested in heading down? I bet I could get a 4 seater truck to carpool.

Well...Doug Henry had a very serious crash early this season and isn't racing...I'm not even sure if he's walking again

, in fact, there is a fundraiser on monday to help him out, but yes, the big names will be here. Sunday is one of the AMA rounds for the season

DAMN -he was at my first trackday up at loudon just backin it in and making it look so easy - i hope he recovers

fyi... Zsolt and Rebelpacket both race this kind of stuff... but i believe they go to Englishtown... down in Jersey somewhere. this is the first i have heard of something like this... close enough to get my attention.

Staying for the pros on Sunday. I think my races will be on saturday, thinking I might do the mini race that they just added too. It's going to be a blast. We can fit 4 in the hotel room, so far it's just me and KB. Hopefully I can find a camera and teach him how to work it since I don't think he's going to race. Two spots left in the room for anyone that wants to join us. You know it'll be a great time.
