Gixxer Transformation...

The newest NESR Racing bike should start it's transformation process soon! I'm trying to come cocoa on some smallish debts before I dig into this, and it's looking like I'll start ordering some shit for it within the next coupla weeks. So all you peeps that said you'd be into helping me with this project, BEWARE! I'll be calling your hands soon enough!

I've got a gun and a compressor. If you need just a gun, I have one that is brand new and as long as you promise to clean it nice you are more than welcome to use it.

Jay, I have a spray booth and equipment we can use. I also will probably get paint donated to us. Best thing is to paint all the NESR bikes at once so the colors match.

Hey Degs feel like paintin my bike NESR colors too? Cept I want a racing stripe down the center with ghost NESR in it. Oh yea I want all the stickers too. How much you think it'll cost me, don't mind if it's a donation either? No seriously how much?

Cool, man! I didn't know you had a line on that schtuff...

OK, what we will have is probably facilities and help free, but paint we would have to pay for. They can paint the bikes in a nice metallic blue with white logos. They will also do helmets if we want (with our racing numbers airbrushed on the chin area just like the pro's).

Dustin, you would be looking at about $300 including logo's (that's on the high side of the range). Probably that price would go down if we did the work at the same time as the NESR race bikes are being done.

Pardon my Budweiser & Cuervo affected memory. But did we even talk about colors yet? Reason I ask is 'cuz the white bikes were relatively easy to pick outta the crowd last year, while blue may not be so easy for peeps to pick up on...

Okay, I went and took a GOOD look at the Gixxer last night. All I can say is, "HOLY SHIT!!!" I can't believe how little it'd take to get that thing ROAD worthy...

Now here's a list of what it needs to be race-ready...

Gas tank - cheapest I've found was $200.00 (slight damage)
Rearsets (don't need adjustable)
Clip-on's
Hand levers
Foot controls
Fairing stay
Windscreen
Race plastic

It's all for a '99 GSXR 600 ('96-'99 will work, I think) I'm not exactly ready at this point to start buying this shit. But I will be shortly. If anybody's got a line on ANY of this stuff, or finds anything, PLEASE lemme know...

I plan on doing A LOT of shopping on E-bay. Just not right now. Like I said, I just wanna start keeping an eye out on this shit so I know what I'm looking at for prices. I'm gonna pick E-bay dry in about a month or two...
