    I talked to a local Aprilia dealer who mentioned this immediately after I mentioned I raced a Honda 125GP bike. I second guessed his source, even though it was his Aprilia rep because $5500 MUST be the street bike. If its track only, why headlights/mirrors/signals?

    versus a honda RS125, around 40hp and 160lb.

    I think alot of the weight is in wheels/tires. Honda has 2.50" wide F / 3.50" wide R, with 95mm wide F / 115mm wide R tires. Aprilia's new bike has 110 and 150, respectively. WAY more tire than a tiny bike needs, IMO.

    I'd still like to try one!
