Anyone see that....
...looked to me like Rea hit Haga. And man, I was so glad Haga didn't get hit while he was laying under his bike in the middle of the track. Sucks...was hoping Haga would win this championship

I saw it as well. I'm not a racer, but it looked like Rea tightened up his line with Haga inside and behind him. It still looked like a "racing" thing more than a "foul." to me.
Rea was definitely pushing after his frustrating showing in the first race. I'm glad he held on to beat Spies, even though I like Spies as well.
Looked like one of those "unfortunate racing incidents," as the commentators suggested. Rea dove inside with a lot of speed, Haga was taking a different line, and the two intersected exactly when both riders were occupying that space. I kind of look at it as karma, what with Fabrizio taking Spies out a couple races ago (except that was a completely boneheaded move).

Agree with Brian only Rea had a smooth line and Haga tried to change his line after the apex. Looks like that anyway. Im Irish anyway so go Rea
its racing and you dont always come out on top, trust me

Hagas fault.
In the replay you can see him change Lines, that was a sweet race to come home to on Sunday. Nothing like getting your but whooped all weekend racing and then coming home, curling up on the couch with a beer, your girl and watching WSBK

but on the plus side, this championship isn't over yet. if spies took 25 points off haga every upcoming race (which won't happen), he still wouldn't have the championship locked down until after race 1 in france. and of course looking at the other side of the coin, ben has had his share of bad luck as well. all he has to do is run out of fuel again![]()

Haga was running that wide exit all day. Rea and Spies were taking a wider entry and tighter exit. Everyone knew it and Haga tried to tighten up the exit when Rea went through. Unfortunate racing incident. Not how I wanted to see Spies gain a bigger advantage, but that's the way it goes and Ben certainly had his racing incidents this year (Fabrizio...)
