How cool would that have to have been?

So i was looking into a new search engine called Cuil. It was made by the person who made the engine for Google in 2004. It takes some getting used to but i think it will rock. The reason that i am posting this in the pits is because look what i came across...

    1982 FORMULA ONE
    Date Location Winner Mach.
7-Mar Daytona Beach, FL Graeme Crosby, New Zealand Yamaha
23-May Elkhart Lake, WI Wes Cooley, Yorba Linda, CA Suzuki
20-Jun Loudon, NH Mike Baldwin, Darien, CT Honda
11-Jul Monterey, CA Kenny Roberts, Oakdale, CA Yamaha
8-Aug Mt. Pocono, PA Mike Baldwin, Darien, CT Honda
22-Aug Sonoma, CA Mike Baldwin, Darien, CT Honda

    1982 FORMULA ONE POINT STANDINGS
    Pos. Name, Hometown Pts.
1 Mike Baldwin, Darien, CT 72
2 Steve Wise, Pharr, TX 69
3 Wes Cooley, Yorba Linda, CA 62
4 Thad Wolff, Thousand Oaks, CA 39
5 Eddie Lawson, Upland, CA 32
6 Nicky Richichi, Fres Meadows, NY 29
7 Wayne Rainey, Norwalk, CA 26
8 Richard Chambers, Raphine, VA 25
9 Miles Baldwin, Toronto, ON, CAN 23
9 Harry Klinzmann, Garden Grove, CA 23
9 Mark Homchick, Woodland Hills, CA 23
9 Dale Singleton, Dalton, GA 23

My dad as some of you know is Richard Chambers. In 82 he finished 7 points behind Eddie Lawson and only 1 point behind Wayne Rainey. I just thought...wow how cool to be racing with those guys! Kenny Roberts? are you kidding me? Sorry just cool to be able to delve deeper into the racing heritage of my dad and be able to tell my son that his granddad raced some of the greatest of all time.

I have also found some footage of some old races my dad is in with Freddie Spencer and a cast of others and when i get home i will find those links and post them.

hell yeah, i'd be interested in seeing those.

edit: but regarding Cuil, I think they have a little work to do. Apparently they only have 1/8th of the indexed pages google has and NESR is not one of them.
