Sportbike pays more than Superbike?
Wow, as if it wasn't already hard enough for riders like Jeff to race AMA.
Pretty sad when you can win more money racing a club event at Loudon than AMA pro. Didn't Jeff win close to $15,000.00 racing ASRA (not Loudon) in one weekend alone?

The good news is it's still more purse payout than the series had in 2008 pre-DMG. The bad news is it's still less than 2009 and hurts many many riders. Anyone else ready for the economy to quit sucking ass?
See this link too? Suzuki down 63% compared to 2008. SIXTY THREE PERCENT. Everyone is hurting. http://roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=38791 Specifically the GSX-R lineup of motorcycles is down 60% in the USA. Contingency is going to be almost non-existent in 2010 and they heydays of making 15k in a ASRA weekend are long gone.
Boston --> San Diego
Even more pros show up to collect purses at club races so the club racers don't stand a chance?
Oh wait, you wanted the good news?
Only if I can hangout with Jeff Wood.
Is Suzuki even bringing in 2010 bikes? One of my dealers was ranting about that last week.
Putting his hands in the air, like he just doesn't care.

On the bright side, they're all afraid of Loudon, so they won't show up.
Wait...... is that a bright side?
How is it bashing if it's all true?
