I didn't want to hijack the contingency thread, but right now I have Jeff Wood's SV from last year, and it's setup by him (and Scott Greenwood, I was told) for Dunlop 211GP-A front and 211GP rear (the UK tire)
But, I'm only a single late brake into 1 away from a podium, which would pay out significantly more on Bridgestone.
My concerns:
1. I will never ever have the skill to setup my bike for the new rubber that Jeff and Scott have. I'm concerned I'll screw up a balanced bike tinkering with it. My plan was actually to run the same type tires that were on there all year, even though the dunlops from UK are way way more money.
2. The stones available aren't bridgestone's new model, so would I be running sub-standard rubber?
3. I've never ridden those tires, how do they slide, brake, how stiff are they, how well do they wear and hear cycle? Any suspension changes required going from Dunlop to these?
