What are you proddie twin guys running for tires? I need to change mine. I use michelins on everything I have now, but they dont have much of a variety, I think just pilot powers. Its what Im running on the EX now, but is there something better or are the powers adequate?
the fast guys use dunlops.
I've been using pirelli's. Pete as well.
the pirelli's were good enough for me.

Haha, well MY powers are lucky to get into the mid 1:30s. The ones I have now are starting to get shagged, so I figured Id get some new ones for the second half of the season. Didnt know if there might be something better, or if people used race tires or something, I dunno. And yes, I need to stop overthinking things, it IS just an ex.
What you need to do Is Do the extended Swingarm Mod ,Chrome that Bitch out. Recoonect the horn And get on of those cool leather Vests.
That will get you in the sub 1:30's

I have an LED kit on my street bike. Adds 15 horsepower so the salesman told me.
Although I still like the idea of spinners on my ex with the dollar sign spinner. I need to think about that one. That momentum might help me coming out of corners.
I'm about to try the Dunlops for the first time after running Pirelli's. I'll let you know how it goes.

Then you can't use race tires. Race tires are for dry ONLY. They are like ice in water.
Stick with PP's if you need a tire that can do both.
