    Hey All

So as not to jack Gino's thread anymore, I'll start a new one.

I'm doing alright in WA. The trip across wasn't bad. We spent some time in the Black Hills in SD. If you've never been, I highly recommend it. The area is beautiful and if you do it on a bike, there is some great riding. Beth and I have both been traveling on and off, so we're still settling in. I really like the area and there's some good riding within about 30 mins. Also been doing some forest service roads with the V-Strom. They're a lot of fun and take you to some really nice views in the mountains. We're looking for a CRF230L for Beth for commuting and some light dual sporting.

Still working for Twisted Throttle. (quick pitch for those not at the races this weekend....Open House in Peace Dale TwistedThrottle.com : Twisted Throttle Summer Open House!).

And to keep this related to the Pit Area...

I've done a bit of supermoto at one of the kart tracks. I guess I would call it cruel and unusual punishment . One weekend highside, next weekend lowside. I was kinda bummed. It's always tough to feel like you're going "backwards". I don't think I'll be racing it anytime soon. I'm gonna tear the KTM down and fix some stuff and clean it up. I may try my hand at flattracking this winter (just for fun). There's an indoor series about a half hour away with a supermoto class. Throw the rains on and run for $40. Not bad. I really miss roadracing, so I guess it's time to look for an SV for next season. On the plus side, we live 15 minutes from Pacific Raceways.

I wish I could be at the track with everyone this weekend. I miss the people and the racing. Good luck to everyone as the season finishes. I'm looking to try and get back at the end of Sept if I can work it in, but not sure yet. (anyone have a 'tard I can ride for a race or two?) If not, I'm sure I'll make it in sometime next season

I also wish I could have at least finished the season out with Tony's. It was a really great experience. Unfortunately the KTM is too small for the RR tracks out here outside of the intermediate groups, so it will be a while before I'm even close to helping out with another org.

    Anyway...getting long...blah blah...hope everyone is well.

    Brian

peace dale eh? funny. that's where i spent years 0-5 ...good to hear you're settling in out west, even if the ktm isn't suited to their tracks. at least maybe you'll get a more proper racebike now ...and maybe come to daytona

the dual sporting sounds fun, always kinda wanted one of those to play. great to hear from you man.
