John Hopkins will ride a Stiggy Honda CBR1000RR for the rest of the '09 WSBK season. Hopkins was a casualty of Kawasaki's failed attempt to pull out of MotoGP even though they were contractually obligated to race the series.
Hopkins will be on the grid for the next WSBK race at Valencia.

having a discussion with a co-worker regarding this as well. I think the racing is going to be great.
Another question thoug, what does this mean for Hoppers future in GP? With all the young talent out there, think any teams will give him a shot again?
If they do, I'm guessing it will be another uncompetitive package. Does he give up the GP dream and stay where he can actually race and compete?

I would be surprised if hopper gets on the podium at all.
He had a tuff 2008 with injuries so I will cut his some slack but he gets no slack for those painful columns in roadracing world last year about him and ashliegh just chillin and making $%%&^& cookies.
Put a fork in him
