Would like to see the rider index page updated.
where's Barber, Shaw, Heath
So they're going strictly off lap times then?
i should probably send my stuff in.
Boston --> San Diego
SHUT UP PRE-NOVICE
It's only current, not everyone has renewed their license yet...
Don't you think that makes sense...?
And indexes were massively fucked up last year due to a lot of small grids.
I saw people grid up by themselves or against one other person sometimes, that's an index of 0 or 1. Let alone in the rain...

If I send in an application now, (with a penguin spot booked) can I prepay for my license and request a number that might not be taken? It isn't on posted on the above link yet anyway...
Solid copy.

2nd choice is still available though.![]()

I think both should still be considered. There is more to racing then just lap times. Its easier to bang out fast laps alone. What separates the men from the boys is the ability to bang out fast laps and dice it up "safely" with the people youre racing against near the front of the pack. I had a few races where I probably deserved a low index because of the lack of people taking the grid and I ended up riding all alone. There are a couple of races I think I deserved a higher index because I finished up front but also passed a good number of guys and diced it up. Bergs' first win was like that. Ive finished ahead of plenty of guys that had faster lap times then me in the race. They just dont race as well. I think to base advancement solely on a single factor is not a good idea.
So I sent mine in on time, but they changed my number. What a pain in the ass. I have printed graphics/numbers on two of my bikes, and I didn't want to change them. I thought as long as I had the application postmarked on time my number would still be mine. How did Mike Primavera and up with my number?

And the current index system doesn't give that information. Have a great two person battle in a two person race and your index is zero.
that should do it...
I'm not sure if it's postmarked or received by the due date...
I would call them though, that's a pain
