I'm upgrading the forks on my race F4i

So, in the quest for better handling I have decided to invest in some fork upgrades on the race bike. My builder, Kevin Fegan has suggested upgrading the internals to 25mm cartridges (instead of 20mm) and installing Ohlins valving and shim stacks so that is what we are doing right now. Still waiting for the set of '94 900RR forks to arrive so I can harvest the 25mm valves out of them.
Meanwhile I did some digging and found the company that does the Cassidiam (black diamond like coating) coating on the Yosh Suzuki superbike forks as used by Mladin and Yates. I sent my sliders away to have them done (after persuading them to do it, took some time as they are loyal to Yosh and very secretive). The forks arrived here yesterday and here's a pic.

Unfortunately they won't be ready before this race weekend but I have managed to borrow a set of Showa works forks built supposedly for Nicky Hayden a couple of years back. Hope I don't bend them!!! They look very trick with different tops and all kinds of trick valving.

You really do know some great people don't you?!
Of course I find it very interesting that it takes Suzuki stuff to make a Hondog go better!!!
