I know what you mean about the JR stuff. I am thinking about getting a Tecknic Chicane because they are fairly cheap. Are they good quality?

Technic, no. They are inexpensive, and qualify for the track, LOTS of my friends have bought them.

One way to tell a quality suit: weight. Lift a VANSON and then pick up an inexpensive suit. I did and was shocked at the difference.

If you can pick from the return rack= 3-400.00$ I paid 750 for a 1600.00 team Suzuki with full armor, & pucks; brand new.

Yes, it's expensive. Here's my situation: I rode and bought safety gear. Then I raced and liked it, so I went and RE-BOUGHT my leather safety gear. If someone said this to me before, I would have saved a LOT of money and bought the right stuff first.

If money is super tight, then by all means buy what fits your budget and get out there with us!!
