Come on now, if you're going to ruin my street cred at least use one of my better showings, not when I was on tires that were already one weekend past their shelf life.
in all honesty if, if you took any offense to my slow comment (which I doubt you did) i apoligize. i just feel like busting peoples balls today.
as far as 1, 1a, 2....... i have no idea not being on a 600. as far as 6, my word of advice, try carrying 1 gear higher than you have in the past. end result you don't get as much engine breaking which will make your entry more comfortable allowing you to brake a bit later.... like Jay says, when you are going up hill. trailbraking isn't 100% necessary, better to have as quick a turn in as possible there and start to roll on. should result in more mid corner speed so you wont start to lug up the hill by being in the taller gear. try it a couple times as it will probably seem like a struggle the first lap you do it.
p.s. try to build more reference points, braking 1/2-1/3 way down the hill is going to help you lose consistency. do you use the cones on the right at all?

he means braking going "up hill" as in the banking that is there in T6.

Bingo.
When it feels like you're braking light toward the end of your braking zone, you're slowing much harder than you realize because of the forces. It's kindof a tricky perception thing, but you can get more power out of your braking if you wait to use it. I'm confusing myself trying to figure a way to explain it. You feel like you're at a braking limit going down the hill so you think you're braking where you need to, if you do it later, you get more function out of the brakes and the braking limit is higher because of the slop of the bowl.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
now the trick I have noticed with this, when you come through 5 and down the hill you want to be more to the center of the track. by doing this you will come into the steep part of the banking. brake. quick turn. see ya. if you come down the right side of the track (like a lot of people do), you don't get as much banking for the brakes then you will tend to have a lazy turn in and ride right around the banking to the apex like you were driving a nascar. not fast.
edit: did that make any sense?
