Last year was Nicolas Sloanhoffer, #155. I think the first recipient was Todd Henning in 1981. He did up these fringed leathers that made him look like Roger Daltry at Woodstock. Another notable was Shandra Rubchinuk. Note that the rules state that you have to bump up immediately when eligible. One year, Keith Carbone announced that everyone was slow to bump up and said that no award would be given.

Another notable was in 2003. Our own Gary Silva. He won pretty much every race he entered. He was crazy fast.

On a side note, I've noticed many ROTY recipients are not racing within 2 years of their accomplishment.
