I've not been on the forums in a few weeks. Life is crazy. I saw my race bike for the first time since the end of last race weekend an hour ago. It's nowhere near ready, and has issues I'm not sure how to fix. I leave for the track again Tuesday night... bout 48 hours from now. I'm working tomorrow. FML. That is all.
Booo hoooo take it to fakebook but not here. Toughen up cupcake!

KB, shut your whore mouth and get your ass into my bed... er... um, shop and get to wrenching on my bike.
This is the pit area no one cares about your shitty life. Maybe you should fix your bike instead of being on the internetz. See you at the track bitch.

Do you need any help getting anything ready? If it makes you feel any better, I still dont have a fairing stay or speedo

I'm in the shop. If you fucks would stop replying, I'd be wrenching instead of answering your retarded posts. Why the fuck are you not here helping? Oh, and my life is AWESOME. It's great to be me. Stop confusing your life for mine.
Nope.
Thanks dude, but I'm good. I'll sort it out somehow. If you're in the Georgetown, MA area and looking for a free beer I'm sure I could find some use for you, but I'll get it done regardless.

sweet....so I can run my bike without any kind of instrument cluster or tach? If so then that saves me tons of stress...I can order a fairing stay from Bikeworx and have it over nighted for Tuesday..although I do love my gear indicator...
I was being a wiseass. You can, and many do, but you've gotta know when to shift, etc. My best friend has blown up a couple motors due to lack of temp gauge. He's a better rider and wrench than I am. Personally, I like a tach and a temp gauge. My speedo is taped over, and the only correct way to have a speedo on a race bike is to tape it over and write GO GINO GO!!! on the tape in sharpie.
If you don't look at your gauges when on the track, screw em, don't run any. Tech won't care. If you rely on your gauges to keep your engine intact, keep whatever you look at. My .02, worth about 1/10th of a cent. On a good day.
Agreed, the more gauges and dials I have to look at, the more I'll watch them instead of focusing on riding.
Best setup, a few idiot lites that only light when you need to get off the track to save the bike (low oil pressure, high water temp, etc), otherwise no distractions.
Internet gold.
I has no tach/speedo/anything in front of my bars. You should plan to KNOW your bike well enough to be able to feel where you're at, at any place on the track. Especially since you're planning on racing said motorcycle. I'm not trying to talk to you like a baby, I'm sure you understand what I'm getting at ray.
Dankey, stress is a great fuel. Fix that Popsicle.

Thanks guys, I know 750's pretty well and know the sounds and feel well. I just havent had much time on THIS particular one yet. I also thought that a tach was mandatory, that's why I asked. A lot of useful info here and even though you busted my balls, it was very helpful. but I'll end up putting one on my bike for next race. It's a relief to know I don't need one for LRRS.
Dan what do you have left. Try not to embarass the garage, don't show weakness on the forum...Especially with KB eyeballing..
