Last year there were a few unsecured wi-fi signals that I could sometimes pick up in the infield areas. I have a paper due and some homework that I'm going to need to finish at the track. Are they still there this year so I could jump on them? or is there no wi-fi access?
Hoping someone can tell me before I leave to come down tomorrow. it'll make my life a whole lot easier if there is wi-fi available.
If not, does anyone know where the closest hotspot would be?
u can always have someone phone open a hotspot

NHMS has Sprint G4 on site as it is a NASCAR track.
if you can't find a wifi hot spot, close to the media center typically works. I am on line from the track right now

Bell,
Worst case, come see me. Assuming I can find a new HTC Evo/Palm/etc. USB (Micro USB type B 5pin Male) cable on the way to the track (plan to hit a sprint store on the way up in a couple hours) I'll be able to get online from my phone to my laptop. We could get yours online the same way, or just throw your paper on a flash drive or something and send it from mine. The big catch is this is all assuming I can find a cable for my phone on the way up.

I appreciate the help. I really appreciate the offer too dan but I'm hoping I won't have to bother you or your phone.
